Sharp Shooters/Omni Military Lending Madden 2011 Tournament Rules

1. •There are only 32 NFL teams available.  One for each existing NFL team.  First come first served with no charge for the acquisition of a team.  Once all 32 teams are assigned, then the tournament is closed. Registration will begin August 15, 2011 and end September 5.  You may register either at Sharp Shooters Sports Bar or Omni Military Lending.
   

2. •Although a team may be requested at Sharp Shooters or Omni Military Lending, it will not be granted until you receive a confirmation from the commissioner via e-mail
   

3. •Tournament play matchups will follow NFL regular season schedule as set for 2011 up to the playoffs.  Playoffs will be determined by standings as posted based upon win/loss of each individual team.
   

4. •Team “owners” agree to provide a cell phone and e-mail address in order to schedule games.  In doing so, the owners agree for this lit to be released to all team owners for the purpose of scheduling times and dates for games, based upon the upcoming week’s actual NFL schedule.
   

5. •It is the responsibility of the team owners to contact one another to schedule their game prior to the actual NFL schedule for that week.
   

6. •All games will be played on Tuesday thru Thursday in the Omni Room at Sharpshooters Sports Bar and Restaurant located at 2109 N. Marine Blvd.
   

7. •Once a team is assigned, it cannot be “sold”.  However in the event an owner cannot make a particular game, he/she may send an alternate to play in their place.
   

8. •Failure to show up for a scheduled game with a 15 minute grace period will result in a forfeit for the team and result as a loss in the standings. 
   

9. •Failure for both teams to play and report results in any given week will result in a forfeit and loss for both teams.
   

10. •It is the responsibility of the owners to report the outcome of each game via e-mail once the game has been completed.  If all games are not reported in by Friday of any week, it will be assumed the game was not played and both teams will be given a loss for that week.
    

11. •If at the event of a tie at the end regular time in any game, the teams will go into overtime with the first team to score being declared the winner of that particular game. Ties will not be accepted for standings purposes.
    

12. •This tournament is being played for entertainment and skill only and should not be considered gambling.  Any gambling will result in the team(s) being forfeited with any remaining games resulting in a loss for the team(s)
    

13. •A prize of $500 will be awarded to the winner of the Super Bowl and $250 to the losing team in the super bowl.  Winner s of the prizes will be responsible for any local, state, or federal taxes due from the winnings.
    

14. •Fighting will not be tolerated, any physical altercation will result  in immediate termination of the ownership and forfeiture of the remainder of the season
    

15. •All equipment (controllers) must be signed out for prior to play and returned at the end of play.  Any damage to equipment will result in a $250.00 charge to both team owners.
    

16. •“Owners” will not hold Sharp Shooters Sports Bar or Omni Military Lending responsible for the outcome of any game.  In the event of a technical malfunction during the process of the game, the entire game will be replayed.
    

17. •Any disagreement or contoversary will be resolved by the commissioner.  His decision will be final and binding
    

18. •In the event of a disagreement or controversy of any game by the owners, final decision will come down to Sharp Shooters Sports Bar and Omni Military Lending.  Owners agree to abide by the decision that is rendered.
